Services: Costume Services - Flocking
Electrostatic flock feels like velvet and can be applied to most surfaces, including flexible surfaces. Flocking is a process where short hair is loaded into a large wand and electrostatically launched into a glue base over a substrate. The basic process is used in many ways including printing on clothing, jewelry, dashboards, upholstery, and on molded plastic or paper. Animal Makers has specially cut flocking, in stock at all times. This longer-than-usual flocking creates a natural short hair look and takes over a month to order and receive. Most standard flocking is so short, it doesn't look like little hairs.

Here is an example of the longer flocking being applied to a foam horse torso.
